Rock Rock Rock is a must-have for anyone who considers themselves a
fan of early rock and roll music. This is a real nostalgia trip from the 50´s.
The Story centers on Dori (Tuesday Weld) who is trying to get enough
money together for a prom dress after her father cuts off her charge
account.
This story pales in comparison to the performers featured in this film.
Legendary DJ Alan Freed introduces the acts and music at the prom with
performances by Chuck Berry, LaVerne Baker, Frankie Lyman and
the teenagers,The Johnny Burnette Trio,The Moonglows,
Jimmy Cavallo and the House Rockers, Cirino and the Bowties,
The Coney Island Kids,The Flamingos, and Teddy Randazzo.
An unknown Connie Francis provides the singing voice for Tuesday Weld.
